Taking your assessment
From signing up to submitting: what to expect and how to get an accurate result.
Before you start
The assessment takes 20 to 30 minutes (a little longer in deep mode). Your progress saves automatically after every answer, so you can pause at any point and resume from your dashboard.
You will first choose your role. This matters: it sets the level you are measured against on each of the 11 dimensions, so a Buyer and a CPO each get a fair benchmark. Pick the role that matches your current job, not the one you are aiming for. If your organisation invited you, your role is usually preselected.
Answering the scenarios
Each question is a workplace scenario with four responses. Choose the one closest to what you would actually do today, not the one that sounds most impressive. The options are not ordered from worst to best, and over-claiming tends to show up quickly: higher-level answers ask you to describe a real example.
When your answer claims a higher capability level, an example box appears under the question and you cannot move to the next dimension until it is filled in. One or two honest sentences about a real situation is exactly right. Your evidence is part of your record of competence and, in team workspaces set to individual visibility, your manager can read it.
Submitting
Submit on the last dimension. If anything is missing (an unanswered question or a required example), the assessment points you to the exact items. Scoring is instant and your answers lock at that point.
